Family and friends joined the pre-school children in a teddy bear’s picnic to mark the end of the half term. The children helped re-tell the story of ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’ using props which took the children and their teddies off through swishy swashy grass, squelchy mud, a river, a swirling snowstorm and to the dark wood where we found a cave with the bear. We stopped for a picnic snack of honey sandwiches, bear crisps and teddy bear biscuits and made our way back to pre-school. We have now started the half-term holiday and return to pre-school on Monday 8th June 2015.
