We had a visit from Andrea from Dental Box and the charity Action for Children who came into pre-school to demonstrate the importance of dental hygiene.
The children were enthralled with the lovely puppets she brought along and dentists props such as mirrors, toothbrushes, animals with teeth and a gorgeous singing teddy bear who sang a catchy tune whilst the children practised brushing teeth for a whole two minutes. The children were given time to explore the props and dressing up costumes before finishing with a talk about healthy foods and a story. Children had the option to take ‘brushing bags’ home with them to help them look after their precious teeth.
